Also in attendance was Dr. Megan Friesen, who graduated from SPU in 2008 with a BS in Biology, and is now Assistant Professor of Biology at St. Martin University in Lacey, WA.
Congratulations also to Dr. Cara Wall-Scheffler, Professor of Biology, who was honored with the 2022 Lynnwood W. Swanson Scientific Research Award, which recognizes outstanding, nationally-recognized research that extensively involves undergraduate student researchers.
