Katharine Hayhoe is an author, chief scientist for The Nature Conservancy, and host of the PBS digital series, "Global Weirding: Climate, Politics and Religion." She is the Paul Whitfield Horn Distinguished Professor and Endowed Chair in Public Policy and Public Law and directs the Climate Science Center at Texas Tech University. She has a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Toronto and an master's and doctorate in atmospheric science from the University of Illinois.
She’s been named by Christianity Today as one of their "50 Women to Watch;" Time magazine’s "100 Most Influential People;" Foreign Policy magazine's "100 Leading Thinkers;" Fortune magazine’s "World’s Greatest Leaders;" and the United Nations Champion of the Earth in Science and Innovation.
