What is something you wish everyone knew about your major? One thing I wish everyone knew about majoring in business administration, especially at SPU, is how deeply professors integrate ethical principles with practical business skills. Here at SPU, we don’t just learn about management, finance, and marketing; we also focus on how to lead with integrity, make ethical decisions, and contribute positively to society.

What was your most impactful class or professor? The most impactful class I took was "Gender and Leadership" with Dr. Kato. I enrolled in this course during the last quarter of my senior year, and it almost didn't make it onto my schedule, but I am so glad it did. As I prepare to enter the business world, this class has equipped me to be a better ally for women, advocate for my rights, and address the challenges we face in the workplace. I wish it was a required class for all majors, as the discussions covered important topics relevant to all industries.

What are you excited for in your future career? I am excited about the idea of opening my own business in the future, potentially a coffee shop combined with a hostel or a space focused on art and/or design. As an international student at SPU, whether I decide to stay in the USA or return home, I am eager to bring everything I've learned back with me. My goal is to create a workplace where employees genuinely enjoy coming to work, reflecting the inclusive and supportive atmosphere I've experienced at SPU. I am committed to fostering a positive and engaging work environment while delivering exceptional experiences for my customers, drawing on the principles of integrity, ethics, and community that I've learned during my time at SPU.

What advice do you have for incoming students? My advice for incoming students is to embrace every opportunity to participate in events, whether they are panels, speaker conferences, club gatherings, or events hosted by the Center for Career and Calling. Also, consider volunteering with SPU's Urban Involvement and supporting sports team events. These occasions offer excellent chances to meet potential partners, co-founders, colleagues, mentors, or simply to learn, serve, and support others. I regret not attending certain events in the past simply because they weren't "required." One of the aspects I cherish about SPU is its diverse range of events across various industries. As a business major, I've had the privilege of meeting influential figures from companies like Costco, Snapchat, Nike, and more. These experiences have been incredibly enriching and have significantly expanded my network.
