Student Fashion Group, MODE

In the Student Fashion Group, MODE, an ASSP club, we use our God-given passion for fashion, and the knowledge we learn in class, to make a difference on SPU’s campus and in the surrounding Seattle area.

Join us for a fun mix of group activities and community service projects — and make a fashionable statement at SPU and beyond!

How do I become a member?

Any SPU student genuinely interested in fashion is welcome to join in. Membership involves:

  • Regular attendance and participation in club activities.
  • Agreement to abide by the SPU Student Fashion Group constitution (signed form). 

Group activities

Professional Night: Guest speakers from the Seattle fashion industry

Area professionals share their experience in the Seattle fashion industry. Previous speakers represented companies such as R.E.I., Sustainable Style Foundation, Showpony Boutique, and Kate Quinn Organics.

Student designer fashion show

Each spring, the Student Fashion Group, MODE produces a fashion show featuring student designs. The Fashion Show is entirely student directed and student made, with guidance from ADM Faculty and local professionals. Read about the 2010 Fashion Show, “So Fresh, Sew Green.”
